There’s no better location than Placencia for you scuba diving courses.  You can learn to scuba dive with the PADI Open Water course and then advance your skills and knowledge with the PADI Advanced Open Water course.  After that you can consider becoming a Rescue Diver.  As a new diver, your focus is on yourself.  The Advanced course expands your focus to all that is around you.  The Rescue Diver takes you a step further in being a great dive buddy and learning self rescue.  Once you are that far, you can think about going pro.  You can do it all with Splash Dive Center in Placencia, Belize.
